You must plan for growth now, no matter how busy you are.
Why must you have a plan to manage growth effectively?
Are you one of the thousands of Australian Businesses who despite their current success are still striving to take your business to the next level?
Are you fed up and frustrated of the daily stresses and increased costs associated with hiring, managing and retaining staff?
Or has the growth in your business slowed down because you and your team have reached a level of maximum capacity and the expense and stress of putting on additional staff or resources is prohibitive?
Taking your business to the next level required bold leadership, calculated risks and making some changes to how you currently run your business, right?
But there is always the dominant question running through he minds of just about every successful Australian Business owner…
How can you plan for growth when you and your team are already incredibly busy?
Just because you are currently incredibly busy managing your existing workload, it doesn’t mean that you can’t plan for growth now.
In fact, if you’d allow me to be a little blunt with you, you MUST plan for growth now, no matter how busy you are.
Past experience working with Australian Small to Medium Sized Businesses has identified the three biggest factors which strangle the life out of your productivity and limit your ability to mange growth effectively. They are:
1. Inefficient or Non-Existent Systems
Many Australian businesses have grown organically over the past few years and the systems that are in place have grown organically with them. However rarely are these systems documented and followed consistently by all employees. This results in many inefficiencies, inaccuracies and time delays in delivering the work.
2. Increased Compliance Work
The amount of additional reporting and increased compliance work have added substantial amounts of time to performing basic, nonproductive tasks. It’s the additional time spent here that’s taken time away from the client facing work which is increasing the pressure on your existing workforce.
3. Rising Costs of Hiring Employees
Does it seem that everything except your prices seems to be going up? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. For Australian Small to Medium Sized Businesses, the biggest cost of doing business is wages. Often, may employees are required to multi-task working outside of their areas of expertise because the cost of hiring dedicated employees is prohibitive.
How much do these three influence the day to day operations of your business?
How would your ability to manage growth effectively be influenced if you had efficient systems in place, you had the resources in place to handle all your reporting and compliance work and could reduce the costs of hiring employees?
When outsourcing with APT we manage many of the tasks associated with your growing business for you. We handle the hiring and training of new staff members. This can include short or long term staffing arrangements.
